We are very excited to introduce Richard Kastelein, the new member of our advisory board. Kastelein is a renowned tokenomist, publisher, writer, entrepreneur, and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He has rich and successful experience in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
Founder of industry publication Blockchain News (acquired in 2017), a partner at ICO services collective CryptoAssets Design Group, director of education company Blockchain Partners (Oracle Partner) — Kastelein is an award-winning publisher and entrepreneur. He has written over 1500 articles on the blockchain technology at Blockchain News and has also published on ICOs in Harvard Business Review and VentureBeat.
Kastelein holds an honorary Ph.D. and is Chair Professor at Jiangxi Ahead Institute of Software & Technology (Blockchain Faculty) in China. He was invited to attend Business Automation 4.0 course at Oxford University in 2018 and is currently working to bring Blockchain knowledge to the university. Also, he has spoken (keynotes & panels) on Blockchain in 30 different cities all around the world including Amsterdam, London, Dubai, and Shanghai.
Kastelein finds RECORD Project interesting as we not only compensate the artists who create music but also the listeners who consume the contents. He agrees that many creative industries including music have unfair profit distribution issues. He has participated in projects in other industries to mitigate the problems in favor of the creators.
