It's a good idea. Renewable energy plants could be funded by investors buying tokens. With these tokens you could later buy energy produced by the producers.
But some simple questions remain unanswered:
-Could I buy electricity to wepower? The market is ruled and it's not clear how they will link to the grid to your home.
-The price of the token will fluctuate, so your energy invoice could be very expensive, where's the advantage?
-How they will assure that the producers' projects are carried out? Who runs the construction risk?, etc.
Nice, but how could I be certain that the electricity will reach my household? And what happens if the producer is in Estonia and my household is in Austria?
They mention Elering in Estonia, a project in Spain, a partnership in Australia, the project supported by Lithuania, and a project clarified by the European regulator (who?). All in all, does it make sense? Let me doubt it.
Finally, as expected the funds will be used to develop the platform...
