Just In Time For Lift Off
The long awaited Q2 Iconomi Report is here and right before launch at that. Maybe it took 28 days to gather the data maybe they delayed it to build more hype for the launch... Needless to say I am extremely happy with their operation, including their investment picks - we get to see the fruits of that labor in these quarterly reports.
Let me highlight some key points I think show the real value.
- ICNX-Passive DAA entry/exit and management fee: $13,373
- Note: The entry fee was changed to 0 and the exit fee was changed to .5 so this metric / revenue will be different in the future regardless of more AUM (Assets Under Management).
- Q2 ended with 3 Million AUM for ICNX, this is negligible when compared to other Fund Management companies. We can expect this to rise significantly after launch, greatly increasing fees generated. In turn this will increase the amount of buy backs.
- ICNP-Managed DAA profit fee: $180,423
- Duh dude of course that's a key point it was a bullet in the medium post... Ya you got me. No the money isn't the key point, the point I want to highlight is from reading between the lines: this is the earnings of ICNP selling only 1/3 of a SINGLE position and nothing else. So out of all of the other investment ICNP has made we have 180k revenue just from a tiny fraction of the overall holdings.
