Welcome to ICO Talk!
ICO Talk is a trusted source for seeking out value in blockchain-based ventures. You may think that to be successful in this space you have to read every new Whitepaper that comes along. I assure you, ICO Talk is here to do the heavy lifting for you. Today we’re covering OPUS, a music platform that delivers more than just tunes.
Opus is a new music-based economy where artists can share their music with audiences in return for OPT. Opus boasts that artists get 100% of the revenue for the music they create.
Opus is new, and they’ve carved out a decent amount of work for themselves. Competition is closing in on this space with other ICO’s like Musicoin. The Opus beta is launched, however when you land, on the Opus Demo, you’re greeted with “Welcome to Opus demo! This is a basic demo that simulates user experience, but does not contain blockchain interactions. If you want to experiment with the advanced demo, please first install and log into MetaMask.”
Musicoin is currently fully functional and paying artists using their token MUSIC. While we at ICO Talk are saving our judgement, It’s interesting to watch how both these projects unfold.
Users get to enjoy quality music and reward artists directly for their creations.
We’ve gone over what Opus can do, but how well are they performing in the market? Currently the OPT is not listed in open markets. Opus continues their ICO until August 23rd.

The ICO Talk Bottom Line:
At a glance, Opus operates within a strong market with a bright decentralized future, although it is uncertain which music service will snatch up the majority of the marketshare. We hope that this ICO talk has been helpful and informative.

Very interesting project, considering the struggle for not so popular artists it might just hit the sweet-spot between value for artist and artist's popularity
I know this tune. Is it theirs? It's an older tune. They are not using their own music? or is it? Well if not........
