RE: IFC Finals - First Round tie breaker ---> Eagle Spirit's Official Tie Breaker Entry

in #ifc6 years ago

Wow!! I didn't read the whole post yet as I'm working on the writing contest and about to get ready for bed, but.. You got your entry in the quickest, AND.. You got what I didn't think anyone would get.. You actually got a real lightning strike!! Epic! Holy crap, lol.. I didn't think anyone would do it. That's going to make it tough on your competition I think! The power spot will have to play a major role I think.. Speaking of such.. I think maybe you misunderstood the power spot aspect of this?
I included a link that explained it when we started the round for those who weren't present when we did it last time.

A power spot is a place where you feel extra connected, for example.. There's a spot by where I live near the creek and there's a hill there where I can stand up on top and watch the creek with big towering cottonwood trees all around and I like to stand there and just think about the world and I feel like if there's stress in my life or adversity and I need to get away and think.. I go to a "power spot" to help me clear my mind and think about what's going on.

I may have missed it since I'm really tired, but I don't see a power spot of yours? It's not too late to go out and film one if you did miss it and then just add it to your post!

Doesn't even have to be outside, last time one of our players used their work desk as their power spot.. It's where you feel comfortable! :) Maybe where you do your card readings? :) I dunno! Anyways.. I hope that helps clear things up! And sorry if I just missed it and I'm tired, will officially read your whole post more when I get more time.

PS.. EPIC AMAZING JOB ON THE LIGHTNING SHOT! I think this will go down in IFC history.. And.. I'm curious to see if anyone else will be able to get lightning as well! Wow.. Great job Eagle Spirit!

hi! woot and chimney rock is my power spot. did i have to specifically say it? i wrote i go to ceremony and its sacred and of my ancestral lands. help! 😮

update: okay, i edited the text to reflect CR is my power spot. please let me know if i need to add more wording.

i go into a lot more detail in the link (in my description of 2 pillars) of my first post about the location and why its so special to me.

That's cool! I thought maybe that was your power spot when I first looked at it but didn't see you mention that it was. We actually have a place in Sedona as well called Chimney Rock!
Looks like a beautiful and sacred and "powerful" spot! That's also neat to hear they likely built in accordance with the moon passing through there.

Even though I already answered in discord I'm going to answer again here, especially for anyone else who might see.. But.. It looks good to me! Great entry! You did an awesome job.

thanks apoly! :)
you reminded me and i added the word.
i think when i wrote my first blog on CR others mentioned they had one in their state too, i also saw another one at Ute Mountain Rez. this one is different in its history, architecture and construction. it was used as a yearly meeting place and astronomical site. all explained in blog 1 too. anyhoo, this one is a national monument where all the others are not too. :)
thank you again for the “awesome job.” it was a lot of work as you well know.
