Life is a struggle or life is full of struggle is not just an assertion or idioms. It is figurative and also the truth. It is with it's complexiticies and uncertainty that tests our arduous journey with resilience, courage and determination.You wake up after sleeping away from all the happenings of yesterday and wanting to start afresh only for another event you don't plan for rear it's head, while you don't have a say on yesterday to change it again.
From the moment you take your first breath to the last, you embark on a journey of success, set_back, disappointment, trauma, depression and all. In all we faced one struggle or the other every day, from the facts that some foetus struggling to be aborted, millions of spermatozoa struggle to fertilize the ovum, infant also struggle to adapt to different environments, the child struggles to master his/her studies in school, working and studying if there is no sponsor, and upon graduation there is another struggle of getting a well structured well paying jobs.
While navigating all the turbulent storms we might encounter in the journey call life, coping with life unpredictable twists and knots and overcoming obstacles in our careers, there is need for human being to establish inner peace Inspite of all. How then can this be achieved? These reasons are not far fetched.
Let's start with self Compassion. This is the practice of treating oneself with kindness, understanding and acceptance especially when you make a mistake,fail a task, or navigating an heart breaking experience. To express peace in a situation like this is simply self kindness to oneself. We can achieve this by embracing emotional well being, kindness, reduce stress and overthinking.
Also, connecting with good relationship that will boost one's emotion is another key factor to create inner peace. For instance, a supportive partner or friend can create a mutual bond during difficult moments. And in knowing that no matter what happened, there is always that loving and caring heart(s)to share in your sorrow or joy, nothing can give one inner peace than this.
Practicing gratitude for all you've achieved is another great inner peace achiever. While being grateful, your attention will be shifted from those things you've not achieved to those grounds you've break. Gratitude makes one to see life positivity. It rooster positive life style.
Lastly, learning to let go is crucial in achieving inner peace. Forgiven oneself and other, releasing grudges or resentment, avoiding bitter heart towards another allows greater heights and moving forward and then inner peace which is the utmost.
Life is indeed struggle and it is in this struggle that we find our healings, our growth, triumph and moved forward by embracing with open minds. By acknowledging our struggles we can receive healing,self discovery, growth etc.
As we tackling life challenges and struggles, may we hold on to hope, forgiveness, gratitude, cultivate recilience and inner peace, because at the end of the day the only thing that will matter is our courage, perseverance and determination in the face of adversary.
