The illegal immigration issue cannot be resolved by jailing desperate people indefinitely , and inhumanly separating children from parents. Of course, opening the door for everybody and anybody doesn't help either (when has this happened anyway?)..
If the US had not intervened (so negatively) in many (if not all) Latin American countries during the last many decades, many of those countries would be a reasonable place to live and so many people won't risk their lives, their children, and everything to cross the border illegally.
