Raping Fata Morgana

in #immigration6 years ago

Imagine this guy walking through the desert for days, exhausted by the unrelenting heat, almost at death’s door, when suddenly on the horizon he sees this beautiful girl holding a jar of water. He pushes forward mustering all the strength he has left and when he finally reaches her he knocks her down and rapes her. The water is spilled in the scorching sand and, eventually, both the man and the Fata Morgana die of thirst.
This is the image that came to my mind today reading an interview with a Romanian poet about the fate of European civilization faced with the relentless influx of Muslim immigrants. Presumably, these immigrants come to Europe in search of a better life, as the European continent is a place of freedom, a place where human rights mean something. As a matter of fact, those clamoring for the rights of millions of refugees to resettle in Europe do so precisely in the name of human rights. Thing is - if the worst case scenarios come to be true - immigrants will soon outnumber Europeans and Europe will cease to be the haven they were seeking. Human rights were invented by the Western civilization, Europeans are the ones that actually care for them. Immigrants don’t. If we, Europeans, die out, human rights die with us.

So far, I have used the politically correct explanation for this massive invasion of Europe - desperate people in search of a safe place to live in. Obviously, this is not the case. Only a tiny fraction of those making their way to Europe are motivated by a love of freedom, the vast majority are economical refugees. They just want a better life, a life of plenty.
However, once they reached the promised land of Europe, most refugees rely on benefits. That’s why they flock to rich countries where they get all sorts of financial aids and allowances. The problem is that if/when they become the majority there won’t be enough white Europeans left to work so they can enjoy said benefits. They will die of thirst just like the guy in the desert.

As I said, the idea of immigrants destroying the very values they claim attracted them to Europe came from an interview with Ana Blandiana - respected Romanian poet and civic activist, back in the day when activist was a decent word. (I’ll leave a link to the interview here for my Romanian friends.)
Another important theme in that interview is our own guilt, it’s not just the immigrants destroying our civilization, it’s also Europeans not doing enough to protect their world. Because we have lost faith in our own values.

‘We are no longer proud to be Europeans, those who created the European civilization’.

From the Christian roots of our civilization to our European culture. Who do you think would win in a battle between disenfranchised Europeans and fanatic Muslims?
However, to be willing to fight for the culture you grew up in one must first know and understand what it is that makes us Europeans. All those thinkers, writers, musicians, political figures that shaped our world. Some had a greater impact than the others, but they all contributed to our shared European heritage. And it’s not just the immigrants trying to destroy that, we have hoards of retarded liberals fighting to rid Europe of all legacy pertaining to the ‘racist white males’ of past centuries. Students’ unions in the UK demand that the curriculum is cleansed of the works of the white historians and thinkers - exactly those whose ideas created this land of freedom where these uneducated brats can demand whatever pops up in their limited minds.
This poet I’ve mentioned is of an older generation, she’s in her seventies now and has a love of the European culture you rarely find in today’s younger generations. Actually, she was interviewed in Paris, where, every time she visits, she goes to a museum where there’s a certain tapestry she’s very fond of. A five hundred years old six-piece tapestry belonging to the early French Renaissance.

The Lady and the Unicorn, Cluny Museum, Paris

Those actively trying to destroy European culture, be they immigrants or native imbeciles, most certainly don’t give a damn about art or the Renaissance. Yet, we wouldn’t be where we are today without that period called Renaissance, that ushered in what we now call modern Europe.
If things go unchanged how long before some idiots will claim we no longer need a bloody museum full of old crap. We could use that building to house of Muslim school or an LGBT youth center?

Unfortunately, if they win it will be because we let them.

It's sad that few people can discuss the issue of immigration without falling into racist stereotypes. Not all rapists are Muslim. European art and culture is wonderful. I studied the Renaissance at university. But there have been strong Arabic influences. Civilisations flourish not in isolation but from contacts and exchanges with other civilisations. To dismiss centuries of Islamic and Arabic art, culture, mathematics, astronomy and architecture strikes me as pure ignorance, not to mention arrogance.
