"Kesariya Balam Padharo Mahre Des Re..."
If you have ever been to Udaipur, your memories of shimmering Lake Pichola wooded with Aravali Hills, fantastical Palaces, Temples and Havelis will definitely get refreshed after you watch the movie Dhadak.
Dhadak got released today in cinemas like a normal film, but the fresh faces introduced in this film makes this movie more special. Viewers were bored of watching same Khan's in different avtaars repeatedly. Shashank Khaitan, director of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya have castes Jaanvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in his romantic drama film Dhadak this time. Die-Hard fans of Sridevi and Shahid Kapoor have high entertainment expectation from these budding talents.
The story of the film is a take on the caste differences prevalent in the Indian society. It is an official remake of critically acclaimed Marathi film SAIRAT. The romantic scenes in the film will cuddle you in the beginning but as the story moves on further situations become tragic and heart throbbing due to conflict among the families of Parthavi (Jaanvi Kapoor) and Madhukar (Ishaan Khatter).
Jhanvi Kapoor is carrying on the legacy of her mother Sridevi as she inherits her acting skills. She is looking gorgeous. Glimpse of her mother is reflected in her dialogue delivery, facial expressions, eye contact, dance or comedy whatever! She has given her best to each and every shot. She looks mature, headstrong and academically proficient on screen. While she delivers her dialogues in Marwari, Hindi and English, her language is flawless. We wouldn't be surprised if one day Jhanvi Kapoor attains the superstar tag which Sridevi famously acquired as she made her way to the industry.
Ishaan Khatter on the other hand can be seen mingling well with Jaanvi on screen and also otherwise. Their chemistry is outstanding. Ishaan carries his own innocent unique style of acting for which every girl will fall for him. He looks cute at times in few scenes of the film, like when he says "Manne pappi chahiye" to Jaanvi and the response he gets back from Jhanvi is hilarious, "Pappi matlab kutte ka chota baccha".
And when it comes to dance, Shahid Kapoor's dancing skills seem to have inspired brother Ishaan Khattar. Ishaan has already proved himself by getting best actor award at Turkish film festival for his debut film Beyond the clouds.
The music of the film is undoubtedly melodious, its title track has got fabulous response from the audience. Anyways the film is made under Dharma Production and has become popular among Masses on it's very first day of release, hopefully this film will do good business on box office.
This film will not disappoint you at all, if you really want to remember your college days memories, then go watch the film and make your heart go Dhadak Dhadak once again for someone whom u loved...
