Incest and its meaning

Since incest between brother and sister played a significant role in both the Indo-European and Slavic traditions, this plot should be considered in more detail and its meaning should be clarified. Nai's oldest recorded incest myth is the Indian myth of Yami's sister's love for her own twin brother Yama, set forth in PB. It is very significant that even there the moment of incest is rejected and condemned, from which it follows that its original version, where incest between brother and sister does occur and as a result of it the human race arises, belongs to an even earlier era. According to the assertion of a sister who seeks the love of her brother, even in the womb, the ancestor created the two of us as spouses.
Based on this, Yami is the first to offer love to her brother:
To me, Yami, came the love of Yama.
To lie with him on a joint bed. As a wife to her husband, I want to give (my) body. Let the two of us roll back and forth like wheels.
However, during the period of the final composition of the text of this hymn, other moral norms already dominated, and the brother resolutely refuses the love offered to him by his sister:
I will never join (my) body with your body! A bad person is called (he) who enters his sister. Prepare yourself for love pleasures with someone other than me! Your brother, O beautiful one, does not want this.
It is worth noting that at the very beginning of the hymn, the sister names not her desire, but the desire to continue the family as the reason for her love for her brother:
The prudent would like to have a grandson of (his) father, Imagining (his) successor on earth.
