A very Happy Independence Day to all the dear Indians.
Our ancestors have sacrificed almost everything to bring freedom and peace to our beloved nation. They fought the Britishers with everything they had.
Finally the efforts of every individual brought us freedom and we were finally a free nation without any foreign governance.
So today, when I woke up I received a hefty load of "Happy Independence Day 2018" messages and I was filling myself with patriotism........ But.......... One status on whatsapp struck my mind and got me thinking over it again and again. It was from one of my friend (Kunal Das), which said "Happy Independence Day.... But aren't you dependent?"
This just strucked my mind and I thought this is great point raised by my friend. Just have a look at your lives, how desperately you are dependent on others......
Why we are so dependent on our parents, society, teachers, etc. ?
I am not saying here that you should be totally independent, but we can become independent for certain simple tasks which are under our reach and what we can execute in an excellent fashion. For example, why can't you prepare a cup of tea/coffee for ourselves (and for others also) in the morning? Why you are so inclined to your mother or wive for a mere cup of tea/coffee?......... This is just one simple and most common example. If you analyze your life you'll find a humongous number of examples.
Can't we be a little more independent?
Can't we give freedom to others on which we are dependent?
Yes we all can..... Let's start from today itself.
Highly appreciated if you made it till here.
