Wow... that's a powerful post @nigelmarkdias; hard to know how to respond, aside from saying I had heard many of these things as "rumors," but's pretty amazing to see this all written together like this.
In India-- or elsewhere-- established systems strongly push against change. And right now, change in Asia is happening very quickly... and technology and development is moving many times faster than social and psychological development.

Nowadays, its become a fashion to defame India by so called secular /comi people due to self motives, and that too this author is damaging the country's image by indicating some pretty issues in social media. As per my view, India is a moderate country where everyone can be accommodated easily. Off course, there will be some issues which are quite common in any developing/developed country.
