I really liked this one. Just making a small comparison of life with science.
Here it goes:
Not everyone is as expressive as a constitutive gene; some people are reserved and
tend to express less. Being an introvert is not easy in a world dominated by
extroverts. It's like we are introns coming in between of exons, but we do exist and
have some role. If not that useful. It feels like a foreign particle in the body
constantly being attacked by the immune system as the world led by extroverts
could not stand the fact that some people may be just comfortable by themselves.
The word ‘introverts’ has negative annotations that need to be modified. Its like
those genes which do express but their functions are claimed to be something else
by extroverts according to their needs/ research. Our body, our brain is so
intelligent that it could fill gaps, so these extroverts often fill these gaps (silences)
with their own interpretations accusing people of being bored, shy, depressed or
sad. Introverts are not sad or depressed, but yes they have made their own bubble
in which they have their own new world. I can very much relate this to being
neglected and misunderstood like a disordered proteins but they are equally
important and very much interesting once you start taking interests or study them.
For an introvert, being alone is with thoughts is as refreshing as sleeping or as
nourishing as eating. Introverts thrives in the inner sanctuary of their own mind,
heart and spirit, but shrinks in the external world of noise, drama and chaos. They
are not weak, but have gpt hell lot of qualities. They are good listeners, are
independent, they have their own original ideas for business or research.
Lastly, I would like to say, ‘ do not break one’s shell, as the turtle might die without his
shell”
I wrote this because I know an introvert and feelings being in solitude.
Love Ruby
