Please sign this petition. It doesn't matter which country you are from but it will certainly help if this petition manages to get a high number of signatures before it gets presented to the relevant authorities.
The petition titled "Implementing Regulatory Framework for CryptoAssets in India" has been started by Varun Sethi also known as blockchain lawyer who recently had filed an RTI to RBI to find out it's involvement in any bill banning crypto in India.
This might end up resulting in a long battle and we must do all we can to support those fighting it. Please head over to the petition and sign it here. It will take you just 5-10 seconds to do it, and be sure to confirm the email you receive from Change.org regarding this petition.
Let's hope we can get our government to change their mind about cryptocurrencies and legalise it officially.

It doesn't feel right for cryptocurrency to be banned. This is the future of money. I need to get my friends to sign this too
Cryptocurrencies are already here, they never needed government's permission or help. That's the entire idea behind them, in fact!
"The future of money"? You mean, the future of currency? For governments, a cashless society is the plan, using digital (not crypto) currencies. Notice the difference. Digital currencies are regulated. FaceBook is coming out with one called Libra. Crypto currencies are not regulated, and can't be regulated.
Asking governments to involve themselves in currencies is a terrible concept. Governments are the problem, and cryptocurrencies are the solution.
Who would ask government to regulate something? That's how they treat everything else in society, regulated. And how is that working out for us? Cryptos and government in the same sentence doesn't even make sense, if you understand what cryptocurrencies are. We WANT the government to continue to "ban" cryptocurrencies, which of course is impossible. That's freedom, and we're winning. Begging them to regulate is suicide.

Just out of curiosity, what is your plan B on Cryptos bans. Consider worst scenario that it gets implemented, will you quit crypto or settle abroad ?
