Scientists map the water on Moon

in #india7 years ago (edited)

  • Ground breaking new data from India’s Chandrayaan-i has helped scientists prepare a map of the water trapped below Moon's top soil.

  • NASA’s Moon Mineralogy Mapper, which traveled aboard India's Chandrayaan-l, found that the amount of water is significantly more towards Moon's poles.

  • The concentration of water is about 500 to 750 parts per million, much lower than Earth’s driest deserts.

Ok, I didn't know that happen. But this should not be anything new to India as she has been there and beyond before. Good start, let's see what else you got.
