मनि शुकदेव को १२वर्ष की तपस्या करने पर भी आत्मा

आकाशवाणी हुई कि हे मुनि बिना सत्गुरु के सब साधन निष्फल है।
जैसे खेती में जितना अनाज बोने पर भी बिना बारिदा निष्फल रहती
है। जैसे ही बिना सत्गुरु के ज्ञान अमृत के समस्त साधन निफर
है। सत्गुरु की अमृतज्ञान वर्षा से ही सब सफलित होता है।
मुनि ने पूछा अच्छा गुरुदेव बताए जिससे में भक्ति धारण
करू। देववाणी ने कहा राजा जनक समर्थ सत्गुरु है वहाँ जाओ।
मुनि शुकदेव राजा जनक के द्वार पर गये और द्वारपालो द्वारा राजा
जनक को शुकदेव के आने की खबर दी। राजा ने कहा कि सात
दरवाजो पर तीन-तीन दिन खड़े रखो फिर मेरे पास लाना।
२१ दिन के बाद शुकदेव राजा जनक के पास पहुंचे। राजा
रानी सहित पलंग पर बैठे थे। शुकदेव ने प्रणाम कर सोचा अरे यह
तो पूरा गृहस्थी हैयह मुझे क्या ज्ञान देगा ? राजा अन्तर्यामी थे उन्हों
ने शुकदेव के मन की बात जान ली । राजा ने शुकदेव को कहा
शुकदव।
शुकदेव को बैठते ही नींद आ गई और उसने स्वप्न में अपना
विवाह किया व उसके एक बच्चा हआ। बच्चे को खिला रहा था ।
इतने में ही राजा जनक ने जगाते हुए कहाअरे बचे को ठीक रखो।
शुकदेव ने देखा कि कमण्डल पड़ा
जागकर सामने अपना था।
