Hiii! You beautiful people,
Hope all are doing good. As I informed you in my last post I’m going to share my travel experience of Rameshwaram with you all. So I’m back with my part -2 series. The very next day after visiting the temple we booked a cab and set off to explore Rameshwaram.
The first place we visited is
Thats me right standing in front of the temple.
Ramar patham means foot print of Lord Shri Ram. It is believed that, from this place Lord Shri Ram has overseen Srilanka in the legendary of Ramayanam. It still has the foot print of Lord Rama and is a sacred place for Hindus.
This is the entrance and first floor of the temple. we can see the imprint of Lord Shri Ram's foot in a chakra.
Tourist visit here to get the blessings of Lord Shri Ram. I dint take photo inside the temple as its not allowed.
This is the picture which i took from the terrace of Ramar patham. From here one can get the full view of Rameswaram and a good view of dhanushkodi.
Such a beautiful scenario isn't it....
This is the sea in dhanuskodi, where fisher mans are catching fishes and also catching our eyes!!
And here comes my favorite where i enjoyed a lot and that is
Dhanuskodi lies in the southern tip of the Rameswaram. Which means “ tip of the bow”.
This spectacular place is bordered by bay of Bengal sea on one side and Indian ocean on the other, at the very tip of Dhanushkodi one can view the merging point of the seas Indian ocean with high tides and bay of Bengal with low tides, this point is named as “Arichal munai”.
And here comes the most important and interesting sightseeing choice, the memorial of the former president
This is the entrance of the monument. It depicts the India Gate, compiled with a Chettinad door.
while the main dome of the building is a replica of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The everlasting memory of India’s great leader, former president, and a renowned scientist – Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, now welcomes the visitors to the temple town of Rameshwaram.
And for your knowledge this was inaugurated by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 27th July, 2017.
That's me with my Mom and Dad. And by the way guys the phones and cameras are strictly prohibited inside the memorial so, if you ever visit, can take photographs outside the memorial as we did.
So, thank you friends for reading it. hope i have not made you bore.
And if you like it please vote for me.
You have shared a great experience, well done
thank you
Lovely.
