I think India is most over-rated at the same time most under-rated country in world.
1)Zero was first invented in india
2)Mesuring instrument rulers was first used in India during 2600BC
3)jute plants as well as Cutton were first cultivated in india
4)Indigo dye was first used in India, which was also the earliest major center for its production and processing.
5)Cashmere wool or Pashmina fiber originated from Kashmir where the fiber was first used to make shawls in the 3rd Century BC
6)Iron works were developed in India around 1800 BC during 2nd chandragupta
7)kabaddi originated in India
8)Radio signal was first discoverd by A.G. Bose.
** BUT SADLY ANCENT INDIA DID NOT HAD ANY DMCA or PATENT POLICY ** (AND WAS OPEN-SOURCE TOO :P)
Which makes me think that ancent India was most underrated Country
Now a dayes,
1)We say incredible India strewn all over the internet but in reality we find pile of garbage even beside our own house.
2)We say India is superpower but till now over 27% of Indians are below proverty line.
3)We say india is biggest IT hub till over 20% of Indians are till illitarate
& So some time its looks like we are living in the most over rated country.

I feel the same too . Most of them don't really know what the country has achieved , but those who know about it like the political parties over there try to take advantage of it by claiming it as something the county achieved just because of them . They like brag about small things they have achieved and they don't really care about the country , they only care about them
