History of Tipu Sultan's life

Tipu Sultan was the ruler of the famous Mysore Empire, famous for his bravery in the war against the British East India Company. He was known for his bravery and courage. He is regarded as India's first freedom fighter for his excellent fight against the British, who tried to win territories under the Sultan's rule. In the Treaty of Mangalore, which was to end the Second Anglo-Mysore War, he signed with the British East India Company, the last occasion that an Indian king ruled the British.

Tipu Sultan as the eldest son of Hyder Ali, the Sultan of Mysore, assumed the throne after his father's death in 1782. As ruler, he made many new changes to his administration, as well as expanding the iron-clad Mysorean rocket, which was later deployed against the advances of the British Army. With this, he made his place in the history of India by giving his best performance in many wars.

Tipu Sultan was born on 20 November 1750 in the city of Devanhalli, now known as Bangalore, Karnataka. His father was Hyder Ali, a military officer of the Kingdom of Mysore in South India, and mother Fatima Fakhr-un-Nisa. His father came to power in 1761 as the de facto ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore. He ruled the Mysore state with his status. Hyder Ali, who was not educated himself, yet thought of giving a good education to his eldest son Rajkumar Tipu Sultan and got him a good education.
