As some of you might know, i love this place and had planned to travel here 2 months back, but had to cancel my plan because of some riots in north India. But thankfully, i got the chance to visit it this weekend in peace.
I went there by train with a group of 13 people(parents & cousins).Even though i am going there since 15 years but this time i discovered a few things about this place i never knew, so i will be sharing that part with you.
Although i dont have many pictures of my travel this time because,
--It is very crowded there and it is really hard to take care of your cellphone, and so i keep my phone in my bag and luggage stays in room while i am wandering around.
--Also the place is well known to have lots of free spirits/ghosts, AND I DONOT WANT TO CAPTURE ANY OF THEM IN MY CAMERA EVER SERIOUSLY. 🙄
About GOD OF EXORCISM
Famous by name MEHANDIPUR BALAJI, this temple is located in Mehandipur village of Rajasthan state of India. This state overall is said to be home of many ghosts because it is rich in ancient forts which are haunted by spirits of kings and their people.
Lord mehandipur Balaji is a form of Lord Hanumana and he frees possesed body. The victims go there and pray to God and believe me on this, possesed body actually gets free. The idol of Lord sits proudly in the temple with a layer of Gold on him.
This is how Mehandipur Balaji's idol looks like :
Ardaas
Possessed as well as Normal( not-possessed) people like me go there having high faith in Lord's magical power and pray to keep the negative eyes away from them.
This is generally done in form of ARDASS. Ardaas means a kind of request to god which is done by using :
For possessed people : They use white cooked rice and mung beans in a paper bowl.
For un-possessed people : Little ladoo & white patasha( 2 kinds of sweets) are used.
The priest would take Ardaas and put into a fire which is lit 24*7 in front of God.
By putting into fire, we request god to keep the negative evil spirits away.
The new thing i got to know and observed :
There is a silver bowl below Balaji's hand and Balaji's sweat keeps dripping into it. It is said that, the hard work or the powers/force that is into work to save people makes God work really hard and hence sweaty.
EYE-OPENER : People disappearing
Near this temple lies two sets of hills : 7 hills also known as 7 pahad and 3 hills known as teen pahad(in hindi). In between lies the temple.
PEOPLE STARTED DISAPPEARING FROM 7 HILLS OF THIS STATE AND HENCE 7HILLS CLOSED FOREVER. WHEREVER 3 HILLS ARE STILL OPEN TO VISIT BECAUSE THE TEMPLE PROTECTS THE 3 HILLS FROM EVIL SPIRITS OF BHANGARH FORT.
Bhangarh fort comes on the top in list of Asia most scary places and is closed after 6pm.
I got to know about this yesterday only and was amazed, everytime i have been visiting Mehandipur Balaji, i go from near the BHANGARH fort itself, from a distance of few kilometers only and i cross the fort at odd times in the night. Like yesterday my train crossed from near the place at around 11pm.
The feeling was scary and my cousin & I researched a lot about what actually happened at BHANGARH fort and why is this place like this today.
Near the area i visited, there were no homes to be seen for as far as you can see with your eyes.
There is a reasoning to the disappearing people of 7 hills and my lord's temple has the major role play in it which i will be sharing soon as i have to draw a proper map by my hand for that.
I believe in him so much so that i keep his little idol with me ALL THE TIME, even when i am travelling.
But yeah i took a selfie with my dad when we were leaving :

I visited two years back when my sister had cancer. Thanks for sharing the exciting fact about lost visitors.
Oh, how is your sister now?
The tumor is out with surgery and Balaji's favor.
Great, may god bless her with all happiness and positivity :)
Thank you for your wishes!
We need to visit together for the 'sawamani' ritual when her health permits.
Great, let me know how was your visit or any help needed regarding the place :)
Is it ominous to turn back after the 'darshan'?
Anything else to see in that area or other parts if you know Rajasthan well?
Very amazing travel hello to all Indian steemit user have a great time to all of you.,Beautiful picture hope indian people have their rights to live in freedom.
THanks
I visited it once.
Because of a girl, who is our relation. She was acting in a creepy manner, her way of talking, her eating style, her physical power all changed. I don't know why. Whether due to some mental illness or because of super natural powers.
One Baba or we can say Tantrik told her mother that she would die within few hours if you can't take her to mehandipur balaji....
That was my first visit....
Ohhh did she survive, alive?
Yeah she is fine now....
Glad to know :)
