On 17 of September every year Lord Vishwakarma' s birth is celebrated. Lord Vishwakarma, the creator of the universe according to Indian mythology. This occasion in celebrated in many parts of India - West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Karnataka etc. On this auspicious day people make pandals with statutes of lord inside it. Pandals are generally made by factories, construction site officials, business owners and workers praying for safety and improvement in workplace.
So as I belong to an industrial town in West Bengal, it is celebrated on a huge scale. And loads of people come to visit the pabdals.So I have clicked some of the pictures.
