The meet-up of a Blue Moon, supermoon and total lunar eclipse. The first lunar eclipse this year is going to be a rare celestial phenomenon. A blue moon (a second full moon in a calendar month), a super moon (when the moon is unusually close to Earth, making it bigger and brighter) and a blood moon (a moment during an eclipse when the moon appears red) will all coincide. This take place for the first time since 1866. As the three lunar phenomenon are coinciding, NASA has tagged the rare spectacle as the "Super Blue Blood Moon".

Many parts of the globe caught a glimpse of the moon as a giant crimson globe, thanks to a rare lunar trifecta that combines a total eclipse with a blue moon and super moon. The spectacle, which Nasa has coined a “super blue blood moon,” the moon crosses into the shadow of the Earth and turns blood red. The Super blue blood moon looks awesome from Gayo Highland Sumatra also.
