They claim the Switch can be hijacked soon.
Piracy console is already commonplace in the gaming world, even since the presence of the first Nintendo almost without protection at all. However, the ease of hijacking a console is getting more and more difficult because the developers are desperate to protect their main software console. This happens in the case of PlayStation 4 that claimed to be hijacked, but in the end it is only the utilization of "empty gaps" or bugs in the operating system. Sony then re-protect it with a more powerful update.
Unlike Sony, Nintendo with its Switch is one console that is also difficult to break down, making the hackers get a new "challenge" to "subdue" the console hybrid. Now, they claim that they are "getting closer" to making pirated operating system "conqueror" or homebrew software Nintendo Switch.
Through a video of their presentation at Schedule 34th Chaos Communication Congress, three hacker groups named Derrek, Plutoo, and Naehrwert claim that the Nintendo Switch has the most secure operating system they've ever encountered. They then explain how tight the software protection, which has several layers of defense until the game process can run. Simple, they need to break through the layers before they can hack. However, they later showed that they managed to break down the protection to run their own software. It is "in the naked eye" while making the Nintendo Switch 100% plowed.
Until now no one has dared to release it until an uncertain time. However, the video above is an early sign of the emergence of the pirated Switch. Making Nintendo should prepare a new step to close the gap that they can exploit with the next update. What do you think?
