The volunteer type is divided into Protocol Assistant, NOC Assistant, Liaison Officer, and Work Force.

Indonesia will host the 2018 Asian Games from August 18 - September 2 in two places, Jakarta and Palembang. To support this grand event, the committee opens about 13,000 volunteers or volunteers for students or at least high school / vocational graduates.
"The 2018 Asian Games volunteers will be on duty as well as channeled according to the requests made specifically by each department in the INASGOC management," said the committee statement as quoted from the official website of the Asian Games 2018.
The 13,000 volunteers will be placed in both Jakarta and Palembang for the Game Test period at the 2018 Asian Games.
The department in the stewardship of the Asian Games committee include the field of Sport, Medal, and Cultuer; Venue & Environment; Arrival Departure & Hospitality; Ticketing; Communication; Broadcast; Transportation; IT & Telecomm; and others.
Meanwhile, this volunteer type is divided into Protocol Assistant, NOC Assistant, Liaison Officer, and Work Force.
Protocol Assistant is in charge of VVIP guests, such as heads of state, IOC and OCA leaders, and high level government or other organizations.
NOC Assistant is in charge of assisting VIP guests and contingent of each country participating in the Asian Games. They also serve as a liaison between the contingent of the INASGOC committee on the needs of both parties.
Liaison Officer is responsible for providing the information required by the contingent of guests and visitors. LO will be in charge of various places such as help desk, hotel, airport, match venue, athlete's guesthouse, and catering.
Work Forde is responsible for actively playing the game in every venue.
General requirements for volunteers are students (minimum graduate of high school / vocational school or have a D3 degree), at least 18 years of age, fluent in English or other foreign languages, able to work independently and proactively, have the ability to work within a short deadline, and are interested in the field Sports. Meanwhile, in the midst of rumors that there is a volunteer acceptance for the 2018 Asian Games and some even ask for payment, the committee asked the public to be vigilant.
"We confirm that all information and registration can be done through the official website of Asian Games 2018, www.asiangames2018.id and all recruitment process is done by human resources department of INASGOC," said Head of INASGOC Erick Thohir through press release on Sunday (7/1/2018) .
