Talking about the culinary of the archipelago is endless, because Indonesia is a paradise of traditional food. Lots of typical food from different regions in the archipelago. From Sabang to Merauke there are various types of food we can meet. One of them is a bamboo putu cake, a cake containing Java sugar and grated coconut on top of it, is a traditional cake from Indonesia that is very tasty and has a sweet taste that fits. This cake is steamed and put in a bamboo tube to cook it..

Maybe you often see this snack on the sidewalk peddled by merchants using a cart.
