The willingness and creativity of students in adapting and completing their learning activities do not appear on their own. Everything arises because they are planned by teachers who have the ability to understand and treat students humanely.
Education as a human resource must receive continuous attention in an effort to improve its quality. Improving the quality of education also means improving the quality of human resources. For this reason, it is necessary to renew in the field of education from time to time without stopping.
It can be said that the teacher in the teaching and learning process has a dual function, as a teacher and educator. So, the teacher automatically has a big responsibility in achieving education progress. Once the size of the teacher's role as teacher and educator, it must be recognized that the progress of education in education depends heavily on the authority and ability of the teaching staff (teachers). Indonesian education will advance if the teaching staff (teachers) as the main capabilities in the education system are of good quality. Indonesian education requires teachers who have the teaching, educating and innovative skills that are innovative, creative, humane, enough time to pursue their professional duties, can maintain their authority in the eyes of students and the community (maintaining a "conscience of professionalism") and can improve the quality of education. To get such a teacher, two things to note are their education (especially in pre-service training or strengthening teacher education programs, not in training services) and their welfare.
