Values of bamboo in the era of plastic.

in #industry7 years ago (edited)

These photos of the furniture given below are made of a kind of tallest grass called bamboo. Though such cottage industries in northeast India have been in vogue since generation, some progress was prevented due to the advant of mechines which produces articles of synthetic items like plastic etc. But how can these these home made articles of natural items with hygienic value be replaced by plastic products and such other . The government should encourage bamboo cultivations to a greater extant to be available for the production of such valuable furniture and so many essential items of everyday life for man in the world. Please look these items below and their unheeded producers who may be their encouraged and inspired by us there by giving them an ample scope of works and markets through economic geography of industry. Wishing a still better world of bamboo and the preserver of such valuable industries though thick and thin.

Though plastic is renewable, bamboos can be cultivated which are necessary for making paper as well. Impressions is that both the industries should be given equal importance as the saying goes 'old is gold'

I agree with you, this industry should be encouraged and not the opposite.
