Analysts Company Canalys has released a report regarding the performance of the Chinese smartphone market in 2017. For the first time in 2017, smartphone sales in China declined by 4 percent compared to the previous year. The companies sent 459 million smartphones in 2017.
Smartphone sales declined in the fourth quarter, in which smartphones sales decreased by 14% compared to the previous year.
In 2017, the biggest player in the Chinese market, which sold 90 million smartphones was Huawei. Oppo sold 19 million and Vivo sold 17 million phones.
