8) Mamluks
Mamluk was a "slave" soldier who converted to Islam and fought for Muslim caliph in the Middle Ages. Over time, they became so powerful military nations that they often defeated the Crusaders. Sometimes, sometimes they used to take power for themselves, for example, the Mamluk Sultanate was the ruler of Egypt from 1250-1517. When Mamluko converted to Islam, he trained as a cavalry soldier. As the mamlukas were brave and generous, they were very skilled in technique, riding, archery and medical practice.
