The role of information for each individual and, above all, society, is so important that without it life itself is impossible, because everything in the universe consists of three substances - matter, energy and information. Every object in the world consists of particles of matter that have potential energy and the ability to reflect each other's properties in others.

Knowledge of the world of a person is possible only through the perception of the brain (our natural computer) aspects of objects, phenomena, processes, structures, relationships between them, quantitative and qualitative characteristics and the like, we can obtain on the basis of signals reflected from objects observed and perceived through our senses and processed by the brain.

This information is very important for living things, because they have to constantly adapt to environmental changes, because of the need to respond to signals received from objects. living organisms analyze signals received from external and internal environments, and react to changes in their behavior by means of correction.

It should be noted that individual signals about the change of object parameters received by sense organs (sight, hearing, taste, smell, tactile sensation) can not be considered information until they are processed by the human body - the brain. Unprocessed signals serve as raw materials (data) to obtain information from them.

Aggregate information owned by a person, a group of people or society, is called a source of information that produces a certain amount of knowledge. Without an increase in the amount of information, the volume of knowledge can not increase, except when a combination of known information sources can produce new (secondary, tertiary) derivative knowledge, uses that contribute to the development of theory and practice of economic activity.

Quite often, the use of different knowledge and methods of science in certain combinations provides a progressive new direction in the development of science, based on the synthesis of information in many sciences (eg, cybernetics, systemology synergetics, genetic engineering, transhumanism, robotics). Information has special features - simultaneously exist in an ideal and material form.

The ideal form of information is due to what is created by the subjective thinking of people and transmitted from one person to another through language, logic, concepts and judgments according to certain rules. Violation of the transfer of information rules can be intentionally or wrongly essentially to distort the sense of the parties and the correct parameters of things, phenomena and processes. A deliberate distortion aims to deceive, conceal their intentions, mislead, distort the truth, harm, disrupt the enemy, etc., called misinformation.

The form of information material determines its genetic origin. It arises because things, phenomena and processes by their nature exist apart from our consciousness, that is, they are objective. Of their existence, we learn only with the reflected signals from them, taken by our receptors (sensory organs).

For example, the color is perceived by the view, as reflected in a certain range of light waves of one of the true properties of things. The receptor capturing objects reflecting the world around us is a certain signal that is automatically recorded and processed by the brain, creating an image (image) of the object.

Information, unlike material and energy, using not only does not diminish, but increases when its use by many consumers. It also has property, has value, is sold and bought. exchanged for other goods, manufactured and consumed, stored and replicated, transformed into knowledge in the learning process.

In the modern world, the information society includes the US, Japan, Germany and some of the most developed countries in Europe, where the level of informatization is increasing (UK, France, Italy, etc.). It seems that other countries should focus on the developed countries and build on their potential information, but that is not it.
