In a direct war between Iran and Israel, who would win and at what cost? How long would the war last? What is a realistic outcome in such an event?
A member of Quora's social Q & A platform asked the question: Can Iran win against Israel?
I answered from my point of view, having a better experience in many related matters than most of those giving their views on that platform, your comments here would for sure enrich my knowledge.
Due to the usual censorship by Quora moderators when it comes to saying anything negative about Israel and their habit of collapsing answers, sending threatening emails to 'be more polite in answering' since criticizing Israel, in their views, is unpolite [!!!!], I'm sharing my answer here to preserve it:
Can Iran win against Israel?
Iran can take out ‘Israel’ in less than an hour in one-on-one confrontation. Drowning the pariah state with missiles will leave the tiny state in rubble as soon as the missiles start landing.
There’s a catch, ‘Israel’ is not a real independent state like people might think, even if they call themselves so. They don’t have recognized borders to start with. To simply put it: Israel is the 51st state of the United States of America, now the real question: Can Iran win against the USA’s 51 states?
Iran can withstand a war of aggression against it by the US in a direct invasion Iraq-style. But will Iran stay idle receiving the hits? I believe if the junta ruling now the USA will go as dumb as what is expected from their criminal minds, Iran will suffer a huge degree of destruction, but this will come at a very very high price tag for the USA, in losses in military troops, material damage, and financial loss.
Iran cannot, theoretically, bomb the USA itself, but it can bomb each of the US military bases within its range, including US warships in its range of fire. What does this mean? Tens of thousands of US personnel will perish, don’t be fooled by the hawkish junta ruling the USA, they couldn’t attack Hezbollah directly, they couldn’t attack Syria directly, and they’ll never be capable of attacking Iran directly, even when Russia and China were much smaller regional powers.
The US economy is in decay, the US dollar is losing its ground by the minute, all over the world. Without it being the international exchange currency, the US dollar will have to depend on the US’s backing it with gold it spent already, or with its own GDP which is less now than the public debt of the US budget.
No European country will join a ‘coalition’ led by the USA to attack Iran, the Gulfies would love to but they fear complete annihilation due to their proximity to Iran and the fact that other than Saudi Arabia there’s a vast percentage of the population of Iranian Shiites among the GCC countries, the Eastern provinces of Saudi itself are majority Shiites.
A few oil tankers sinking in the Persian Gulf will be enough to cripple the world’s economy which means each country pegging its currency to the US dollar will have massive ramifications within that it won’t be able to stop.
In other words, the US’s ‘Israel’ state has nukes, which if they use one they’ll have to withstand all sorts of other WMDs built within minutes and launched on it from all sides. Nobody with functioning two brain cells would want to see that happen.

Maybe that's exactly what the warmonger profiteers in the US want: More military destroyed more defense contracts...
What are your thoughts on this report which apparently explains how the Iran-Israel conflict is a charade?

Not looking to argue
Just want your honest thoughts
I couldn't care less about Iranian foreign policies, like what I told you about the Russian foreign policy: what concerns us in their policies is what is a matter of concern for us Syrians, everything else is their own business.
If they stand by us in our cause that's their duty, for 8 years of their useless war with Iraq we were the only country on the planet to stand by them and paid a hefty price for that for them, because the USA was on Saddam side in that war.
It's also their duty to stand by us in our battles against terror and its sponsors, next stop after us is them, and if we didn't defeat terror in Syria then Israel would be inside Iran within few months only by its proxies.
