RE: AFRICANS PAY WITH BLOOD WHEN PRECIOUS RESOURCES ARE DISCOVERED; PART II

in #informationwar7 years ago (edited)

Oil spill is one major cause of less farming activity in Akwa Ibom state of Nigeria, almost all foods has to be imported thus causing high cost of living. Government seem to be patting them in the back with great infrastructures at the expense of their lives and future. Coming from the west makes me understand that people in such places are really suffering despite the good roads, buildings, etc. - the development is laughable.

On the other hand, @stellabelle putting an end to petroleum will be a double edged sword on the economies of countries like nigeria who seem to be living solely on it. But i believe adequate attention to farming can profer a lasting antedote. Thanks

The post never said anything about putting an end to petroleum. The Emphasis is the root cause of conflicts in all Naturally Rich in Resources Nations in Africa.

Yes i was not saying the post said so, i was only reacting to stella's opinion of getting out of oil completely. Sorry i should have mentioned that
