I should have read this comment before replying to your other comment @heyimsnuffles. Wow! So the Senate and Congress don't have term limits. Yeah, I believe they should. And those who have already finished their term should not be able to run again after their so-called "rest periods".
In the Philippines, our former presidents who were convicted of plunder and graft were allowed to run for Congress and the other one for Mayor, and guess what? People voted for them. Unbelievable!
