Lack of food is killing the people of Venezuela

A Universal feeling, unique and eternal lived by millions of Venezuelans who day by day fight for a better future, moving in one direction the change of a nation of a country with millions of people willing to give their best .

President Nicolás Maduro during the month of August has focused on distracting the people of Venezuela with false promises, with delivery of bonuses to anyone who holds the card of the country, among other things.

This situation is worrisome, which is driving the Venezuelans to the edge of despair, a week ago I went to the super market to buy something for dinner, when I arrived at the super market I had the bad luck to see that there was nothing to buy, corridors empty, refrigerators without any cheese or meat, there were no vegetables, nothing that could be eaten, all they had were cleaning products and sweets for partying.

When leaving the market I went directly to a bakery with the false illusion of getting to eat, unfortunately I did not get anything, just an empty bakery.

Finding basic items in a Venezuela torn by the crisis has become much more difficult. Hordes of desperate buyers emptied supermarkets and warehouses a few weeks after President Nicolás Maduro ordered hundreds of grocery stores to reduce their prices in a last-ditch attempt to put a limit on hyperinflation.

This situation has given me a lot to think about, especially those people who have nothing to eat, those people whose salary is not enough for the day's meal, as they can do if they go out and find something to eat for their children. returning home they arrive empty-handed.

The agony of buying bread in Venezuela

Where children are the hardest hit, every day this situation is repeated in many Venezuelan families who have no choice but to go to sleep on an empty stomach.

Acountry with many natural resources is subject to a government that does not have the intelligence to solve this problem that is destroying an entire country, where thousands of children are suffering from severe malnutrition, which has caused thousands of deaths in children under 8 years, bringing the death rate from malnutrition to 35%, which has been presented in less than a year.

The minimum wage has been increased by 3,000% and still not enough to attack the economic crisis facing the country, where every day the prices of products increase by 50% and the lack of food in super markets has reached a 76% shortage.

Venezuelans face a severe shortage of food and medicine, lack of food, a hyperinflationary spiral that adds to the salary. The minimum wage is enough to buy an egg carton, a kilo of meat, a kilo of cheese and a kilo of rice.

It is obvious that this is not enough for a family of 4 people, who have to eat only a few spoonfuls of food to be able to save what is most possible since these foods must be enough for a whole month.

Not only the issue of food is affecting us, but also the lack of medicines in all the pharmacies in the country, where you can not even get medicines for a simple headache, or stomach pain.

Searching for medicines in Venezuela has become a complex and unaffordable task.

Pharmacies, offices and hospitals are devoid of most of the necessary drugs for patients, this results in thousands of people dying or living their lives suffering because they do not have that medicine.

They imagine having to go through this situation, go out into the streets and not get anything to eat, or that their salary only reaches them half-eaten, well this is the reality of many Venezuelan people who suffer in the flesh the consequences of a corrupt government and bloody.
