Truth: A Journey

There are moments in life when we come to ideas or happenings that are outside of our known perception of the world and how it functions. For many of us, we look to one of two distinct courses of action. The most primal may be to resort directly to disbelief.

There are some truths that we simply cannot handle. From the earliest moments of shaping our minds, we have not been taught to develop the fortitude to handle so great a deception. It is easier to deny. To decide to believe in life as we understand it, to see the world as it seems to be. A natural progression of this end is to demand proof. After all, we have a learned behavior of seeking proof to believe the fanatical. And this is not without merit. For who among us has not heard the idiom, “seeing is believing.”

So often in life, it seems like the most important answers to the questions of who, what, why, and when are often shrouded in mystery. And so, ideas or happenings that do not fit the official narrative are written off into the unknown world of “above my pay grade.” It is so easy to misunderstand the value of questioning the validity of the information we are fed. So often, it is easier to brush it off, to assume that someone else will figure it out, that it’s none of our concern. This is a primal feeling, the comfort of knowing that we need not burden ourselves with the questions that matter. After all, it’s probably just internet trolls, right?

But there are the few. The few that question, that seek, that wonder. We become immersed in a sea of language, of symbolism, of thought that seems otherworldly to those who choose not to question. Among so many names, we have been called “truthers.” And though the overall theme or focus of this blog is not to focus on one “conspiracy,” I have developed a warm affection to the word “truther.” And quite honestly, I cannot find one thing wrong with the term.

Is it wrong to question the truth in what we are spoon-fed by the mainstream media (MSM) or the lies that are written in our history books and in our minds? Whole schools of thought, ideologies, societies, and religions are rooted in falsehood. Only the strongest of those who question will begin to see the root structure of what has controlled our society and governments for thousands of years. Is it wrong then to shout it from the rooftops, to attempt to educate those that are “plugged-in” and totally unaware of what is going on around us?

How does one red-pill another? This is a struggle much like what a parent goes through when they see their child begin to engage in acts of self-destruction. The parent can see that their child’s path leads to pain and oftentimes ignorance of what they are headed to. But so often, the parent is powerless to stop them. Sometimes, when we cry wolf, even when the wolf is legitimate and global and right around the corner, all people will hear is that we have been crying wolf for decades, for centuries even, sometimes. And even when the wolf takes off his innocent façade of sheep’s clothing to reveal the heinous crimes and indecencies he has committed against humanity, still it is difficult not to see the innocent sheep’s skin we have become accustomed to. Because it is familiar and safe and makes us feel fuzzy inside.

The allegory of the Matrix movies is difficult to shake off. These movies created a real and tangible face to the entity that we have caught glimpses of over the years. And so often, the discovery is one that involves a process of years of hints of curiosity here and there. After all, don’t we have better things to be doing than spending the wee hours of the night on obscure websites or squinting at PDF versions of books we’re too broke to buy and Amazon won’t sell?

But truth is unwavering and while it may not always be sought or found, we find solace in the hints of it that we find scattered here and there. Even when sources cannot be confirmed or articles have been whitewashed or censored, the truth will be revealed.

This blog is my attempt to make sense of some of the truths that have been revealed to me in this journey of discovery. I will not have all the answers, or even most of them. And while I will do my best to cover topics of general interest and not bore my potential audience with personal anecdotes, please understand that at the heart of it, this is my personal story of discovery. Sharing with you only helps me to make sense of what is to come.
