Thanks @julianhorack for posting this. I agree with the most of your opinions but don’t think that Blockchain technology is “THE” solution to all oppression, censorship or any anti-human stuff. Big countries and the dark forces behind them would still find a way to interfere I’m afraid. But still, I do stand up for anything that’s wrong. And I am not afraid to speak about it, even when I know the majority of people around think the opposite. This makes me a bit lonely. I am sick of people who go with the opinion of majority and try to be very “political correct” as we say here in dutch. I don’t care being seen as “different”.
Even some important political figures here don’t really think people like myself are 100% integrated into this society. You want to know why? Because I don’t agree with them. Even in some basic assumptions and ideas I don’t agree. So then I am not seen as a fully integrated citizen.
I don’t mind. I will keep saying what I believe. Whether this is in Blockchain or real-life doesnt matter for me. But the solution to this general problem of censorship lies on the shoulders of us all! We all need to stand up when we witness something which is not right. As long as we “the people” are scared for our jobs, kids, life... and we remain silent, nothing will change and all will be even worse. For that, look at the rising right-populism parties in europe...
Thanks for your meno to read this very nice piece @crypto.piotr!
