The Met Gala and it's overt religious overtones (special appearance by Illuminati Triangle)

They say that symbolism speaks when lips stay silent.

According to QAnon:

Out of all the themes one could choose, they settled for "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination," which seems really distasteful and lacking imagination. Why take a faith and make a mockery out of it? I mean, will there be a Mormon-inspired Met Gala in the future? Or Hindu? Or Shinto? No? Then why the overt Catholic symbolism being used by various celebs at a party (or as my bestie calls it, "Celebrity Prom Night") because there's gotta be some trigger which made those responsible for the gala chose that theme, right??

I dunno, maybe something like this inspired people to make light of the Catholic faith:

Oh, you'd like examples of "fashion" mocking religion? Happy to help. (Right click and open in new window to enlarge image for more detail)

Some of it is more blatant than others.

Taylor Hill as a tarted-up Cardinal:

Greta Gerwig as a fluffy priest:

Rihanna as the Pope in Drag:

Madonna in priestly black and white, complete with huge cross upon her torso and a tiara of crosses:

Ariana Grande sporting the Sistine Chapel Ceiling:

Katy Perry as an angel:

Sarah Jessica Parker sporting the Sacred Heart many times:

Now, look behind her, to the woman (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) in shell pink with maribou trim. Her dress has SEX printed on it in grey, and with what looks like horse-shoe shapes on her backside. Stay classy, yo.

Jennifer Lopez sporting a cross on her torso:

Migos aka Lambo of sporting Roman/Byzantine inspired mosaics:

Zendaya as Joan of Arc:

Look behind her to the woman in a black gown festooned with crosses of all shapes and colors.

Michael B Jordan with cross broach on jacket:

What's funny about that picture? look to the left and notice the backside of Donald Glover's jacket. "Illuminati" sighting for your bingo card of symbolism!

The suit's front is boring by comparison.

Crosses on the dress and veil:

Emilia Clarke sporting Sistine Chapel cherubs:

Lana Del Rey and Jared Leto looking... like Creepy Sun King Jesus and his murder victim?

Out of a universe-worth of inspiration, this is what people come up with... man, what a sad commentary on humanity that happens to be.
