I have been under a consistent, automated, unprovoked, purely ideologically-driven, NON-REPLIED TO (save once..when blatantly threatened) downvoting program run by avowed socialists for the past two days.
This is how socialism operates, as we've seen played out, over and over again on the national stage. They can not engage conservatives/patriots/Christians on the basis of logical debate, so they simply seek to silence the right of those who oppose their tyranny to publicly resist them and/or to be heard. Their favorite tactic is to display their hatred of all things traditional, decent, moral and essentially American by screaming "hate" at anyone who challenges their agendas.
Please take note. Socialism, btw, is simply gradualized Communism, and their ultimate objective is to erase borders and create an omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent global government. That is the real reason socialists and progressives are so irate at attempts to seal our border from hordes of undocumented, unvetted foreign terrorists, and bogus "asylum seekers." They want out border erased FOR REAL. It's not a game to these people. They truly think that the answer to an-out-of-control, big-brother, police/surveillance state government in D.C., is to TAKE IT GLOBAL AND TO GIVE IT UNLIMITED POWER.

EDITED TO ADD: FYI...When these attacks began in a concerted fashion on Sunday I began re-posting my articles in an effort to force my attackers to at least burn some voting power, and it worked to a degree. I stopped when it became clear that their spamming my account with all those automated downvotes would be parlayed into an effort to call ME the spammer (more socialist transference) and get others to join their downvoting spree. I apologize-- to any who saw my efforts to feebly "fight back" against people with thousands of times my SP in any way I could think to do-- if any took offense at these re-postings.
I finally had a minute to get around to seeing what this was all about. Though I don't agree with everything I've seen you write (with respects to some FP stuff mostly) I do agree you have a right to say it, just as I'd agree that opposing views have just as much right to state how they feel. Steemit could be the world's top notch premiere blogging site if the flagging system was just used to flag a comment that someone disagreed with and that flagging of articles posted, going to that person's blog and flagging unrelated stuff and stalking a person's articles out of revenge were stopped. I found the article on the women who called Trump a MF you wrote, I agree she was out of line, though your reference to Obama that you'd never say anything like that about him despite how much you don't like him but in the same breath use words like tyranny and call his kids rentals, well, personally that was enough for me not to upvote that particular article, if you weren't engaged in a flag war I'd probably left this comment or one similar on there to you....but this is how the system here should work, you either reward them or you don't, you shouldn't be able to destroy people for how they think, if we all though alike the world would be rather boring. I've been a long time blogger, I've made thousands of comments on one site, over twenty five thousands last time I looked, I've been flagged a couple times here or there, one for using the word retarded which wasn't allowed on that sight even though I wasn't calling anyone retarded just an idea but here I've made less then three thousand comments and I can't even recall the number of flags I've received or revenge flagging as a result. Over there people come together everyday and agree to disagree or disagree to agree but there isn't a one of us over there that no matter what side you are on wouldn't jump to have the back of someone we'd otherwise often find ourselves disagreeing with if they come under unreasonable attack, that's just the way it is, we are a group, a bonded entity and some may find it even odd that there are many, many times we all come together on agreement of something. That's how a successful blog site grows, it allows for people to come together to share their ideologies and whether we agree or not and to find common ground when it presents itself.
If anyone doesn't like this comment I will save you some time and tell you I don't have any current articles up on my blog that you can go wipe out that whole three cents made so save yourself the anguish.

Dozens of shining examples of nations broken upon the altar of communism and socialism(in a few years-decades) mean nothing to these people. All systems break, all empires fall, yet we see many nations rise to their zenith over hundreds of years(pretty darn good) under commercial republics.
America, Rome, Carthage, Venice to name a few. Nothing is perfect.
Well said! What we need is to do real monopoly ENFORCEMENT and put in safeguards to eliminate corporate influences over politics. Not impossible, but will take a lot of convincing, and maybe even violence.

I really don't know. In the six years I've worked for them I've never heard a single sermon on the subject. I think they, like Protestants, de-emphasize it, and leave it pretty much up to the individual.
that's probably wise because there are so many theories and all of them use scriptures as proof! lol.
