Daily Quote

"The truths of men must be like stones and their offices must be like pitchers: whatever happens, the pitcher must be broken."

Ángel Ganivet (1865-1898) Spanish writer, essayist and narrator.

Video of the day:

"Pancho (Pope Francis) never condemns the regimes that massacre the innocent people, on the contrary, he always calls on the victims to dialogue with their murderers... Openly shows off his seams!"

Thanks for visiting @primeraplana. This is a news aggregator service for steemians in Venezuela and the world. It is built daily by hand and requires effort. This allows you, whose time you consume in Steemit, to be able to verify what is happening outside of Steemit. This is experimental, so the account will probably go through transitions since it determines what is most useful for the community. In time we will share quality Steemit posts about news/opinion of Venezuela. Feel free to send news suggestions as comments. It is likely that they will not be examined exhaustively until the next headline publication. We will try to limit the amount of these publications that we publish every day to no more than 4, with additional brief reports in the style of quick posts (Twitter-like), in the case of breaking news that deserves it. With this account we will not make many comments and responses unless it is necessary to verify or obtain more information about a report. Those of us who work on this account will use our personal accounts for interactions of a personal nature or opinion. We want to remain free of prejudice and simply present the news in this account.

We need to kill this scourge of criminality disguised as socialism everywhere in the world, even in Europe 1 "Socialism is fine until you run out of other peoples money ! " I have a good friend there in Venezuala I have not heard from her now in two days which is unusual i am woried !! Power outage?? (

There has been constant power outages and failing communications by cell phone providers due to the stealing of optical fiber wires.

I failed to post headlines on tuesday because of that.

Thankyou @metalmag25 for this prompt reply to my question ! So what do the people there say is the solution to this take over by Maduro and his foloowers ?? You certainly need to dipose him and bring in a new government ! No ??

There's four scenarios that could happen in the country in the next 6 months, i'll number them from the most possible to the unlikely to happen:

1.- Maduro will be ousted from power due to internal pressure and foreign diplomatic pressure, by free and fair elections, or by resignation.

2.- Maduro will press harder with the military to tight their power, consolidating his tenure as a dictator, with Russia as an economic ally.

3.- Maduro gets ousted with a coup from the Venezuelan military. Unlikely because military who dissents are deserting and fleeing out of the country to Colombia. And others have been imprisoned as traitors.

4.- Military/humanitarian intervention by a foreign agent (US - Allies). Unlikely because there's no consensus on the hemisphere that there's a dictatorship in Venezuela. Small islands in the caribbean are dependent on Venezuela on oil supply and foreign debt. So any political change done by force will not have their support. But that's changing.

And you know what's the saddest thing? A military/humanitarian intervention by the US/Allies is the LEAST deadly outcome that could happen.

The other problem is... We don't have a trustful Venezuelan opposition leadership who could gain the trust of the people and consolidate governance. That's a HUGE issue.

It's more complex than that. Venezuela is a Tyranny ruled by the military behind the mask of Maduro. They have full control of the oil, food, basic goods and mining industry.

That's why a humanitarian intervention is needed and the government is denying it. They know what's coming upon them.
