This Canna plant is glistening after the rain. Its very happy, reflecting alot of light making it bright white. It produces pretty yellow flowers, but can also be found it many other colors like red and mixes of colors.
The Canna makes large leaves and the stalks can grow very fast, growing too tall for their own stem structure in many cases. Usually falling over by the end of the summer.
The Canna uses a rhizome root system to spread and to survive mild winters making it a perennial around where I live.
I have done other photography experiments with this Canna, you can see Ultraviolet Fluorescence Photography done below:

Not sure but isn't this your first infrared video ever uploaded? Imo a little bit too long (at some parts) but still nice. So calm and atmospheric.
Ive uploaded other Infrared videos, they just look more blueish violet. Like this one:
I think the color is throwing you off, also I am using my Macro lens which I almost never use out inside so its a new look. Also Ive been playing with my white balance, since @photovisions and yourself brought up the color. So the color of the video is different, I think better. I am now trying to bring a white piece of paper with me when I take photos so I can set my white balance. As its varies alot indoors and outdoors.
Okay, was not sure. I thought I have never seen a infrared video before from you.
But apparently I already do have seen one from you.
True, maybe the setup "irritated" me, kind of.
Could be a good idea concerning the usage of the white paper for setting the white balance.
White piece of paper is a great way to check the correct WB. I am not using it, just control it with my eyes and later in post production in Camera RAW.
@photovisions
thanks for the confirmation on that, hopefully Ill get to that level where I can eyeball it too.

@akdx
Ah that makes me happy, I am glad I invested in special camera equipment so others can see the world in a different light.
Your investment is a success.
I love doing near infrared photography and also been experimenting with with near infrared video as well and near infrared time lapse photography. I just uploaded a time lapse I did here.
@astroimaging
Very cool! I checked your video and is really nice. Is your camera full spectrum or just infrared? Figured you would want full spectrum if your doing astro photography.
It's full spectrum modified, 70d. Yeah I do a little bit of everything with it, it was definitely a good investment!
@astroimaging
Very cool, nice to meet someone else with a full spectrum camera. Agreed, its been a great investment getting my camera modded as well.
