This post is intended for both old and new members of the Hive ecosystem. I don't care which Dapp and front you use of, or if you simply play games and such on Hive, i want to hear your point of view. That way the newer members might learn something useful from the older ones and in general constructive feedback and ideas can be heard. This can lead to possible solutions and in general to make the Hive ecosystem a better place.
Don't be afraid i'll start
I've been on Hive many years now, since the Steem days, the veterans here understand what i am saying. Since the day i joined i kept on posting and interacting with other people. This past few 2-3 years i don't really have much free time thus, i don't post or comment that often but i ma trying to change that.
Why? Because i love this place
There are a lot of things that i don't like here, like let's say the low rewards and the fact that some people are actually taking advantage of Hive in expense of everyone else and make thousands of dollars out of thin air. Some of what i said are straight facts some a matter of perspective.
For instance, the low rewards are not so low if you interact constantly with people, make some decent posts or threads and earn 20$-30$ per post. This can be like 600$-900$ per month. Note that even if you earn way lower than the amounts i mentioned like 1$-5$ it really depends on where you live. If for example i was in a third-world country, even 1$ per day could help me out in my life.
Now that i shared some negatives let's talk about what i like. What i like the most are endless possibilities to earn. You can create posts or threads and earn some $$. You can simply make meaningful comments on other people's posts and get some $$, heck you can even hold Hive Power and LEO and earn $$. Same with 15% APR on HBD.
You can delegate your Hive Power, and earn rewards, you can invest in other tokens and gamble a bit. You can even play games and earn $$. If you don't like any of this you can create something on your own.
Besides the endless possibilities, i like that i can write whatever i want, i can interact with people, and learn the news. Sure you can do this in every social media out there but guess what, here you will earn $$ and sometimes you may receive valuable info. For instance, i remember once that some people were talking about another crypto when it was 20 cents, i bought 100 with 20$ and after 1-2 months it pumped to 1$.
I like that i see new projects going on that will add more value to the whole ecosystem, and i also want more people to learn about it, from the average joe to investors to even builders and creators! Ofc it's not like you will get rich quickly or something, we need to put some hard work and ofc luck!
