Restricted Drivers License...

I am 50 years old, and today, I was able to apply for a driver's license for the first time since I was 17 with no restrictions. When I was 17, the state of Michigan gave me a license number just so they could take it from me. I had been convicted of stealing cars and lost it for 2 years. In those two years, I was caught driving and was revoked. After that, I had to deal with the court....

Many Years...

Life happens, and you have to drive. Kids and jobs. I got a few more driving offenses, and then I had some drug offenses that went on my driving record because of Michigan law. When they finally did give me a license, it was restricted, and I had to have a breathalyzer for two years.

Long Story Short...

I've actually had this machine on my vehicles twice, but the first time, covid happened. I lost my job and had to sell my car. Michigan made me start over again. This time, we had it on for about 18 months. It costs $37.50 every two weeks and $20 every two months to "calibrate" the device.

I Can Now Get My License For The First Time Ever!!!

I've been offered really good paying jobs that I needed my license for. This is really going to be a new phase of my life...
