I just Powered Up 100 Hive for our February Hive Power Up that takes me back up to 113K Hive....
I did to a very rare Powerdown, along with many other users, earlier in Jan to have some liquid funds to trade, one has to take advantage of our Korean friends....
So I've also got 16.5K Hive liquid, I'm not exactly sure how I've managed to stack so much, I only PDd 14K Hive, I've traded a bit, bought when the price has dipped below $0.40, sold when it's been above $0.50, not paying too much attention, whatever, I've stacked some HBD and managed to INCREASE my overall Hive stack too so that's nice!
so that brings my total Hive to.... = 129K Hive!
And that's not including the bits and pieces pooled on HE, I think there's about another 1000 Hive over that way. Let's just leave that be for now mind...
I've never seen this before on Hive Stats...
But even with those PDs you can see my account growing after, that's they way to play it...
Sell High and Buy Back Low...
Hive Pumps are a great way to both increase your HBDs ('eventual spending money') and increase your Hive Stash.
I'm never sure when to buy and when to sell, I just guess for the most part, but it's useful to have some liquid funds for sure.
I'm actually quite surprised on review that I've managed to do so well in January, it's been a good month, I'd thought I'd offloaded more Hive than I had, but I think I've maybe bought back more than I realised, that's the problem with setting limit orders and forgetting about them, whatever, it's been profitable without me stressing about it!
January on Hive....
It's been yet another relatively quiet month, with various projects just getting on with developing quietly in the background I think.
Splinterlands has been making noises about Land 1.75 or whatever it's labelled coming out in Spring, along with the next set of cards, so that's all good news.
Nothing going on with Holozing as yet, I would like a timeline on that soon, hopefully we'll see something this year. I guess better delay and produce something good!
I personally undelegated all of my Hive from leo.voter, I'm not prepared to support some of the shit I see getting upvoted through that account. Also with price of LEO going down you may as well just buy it if you want it.
There's a new Hive debit card too, maybe that went under the radar, that's pretty exiting! I would like one!

Going backwards to go forwards, some months that is the way to do it!

I also profited some with the trades in the pumps; sold back to hive at 0.51 assuming we would go pumping again, should have stayed still and racked a few hundreds more hive... oh well, profit is profit!
