SPI Incomes & Dividends
Incomes this week were ok, we earned less from content rewards but everything else was around the same. Curation rewards seem to low at 6.5% with the SPI account for some reason, maybe I need to tweak it and see if we can improve it to around 9%.
SPI Fund Assets
HIVE mooned 25% yesterday so I decided to sell 10,000 tokens for $3000. I then put in a buy order for 10,780 HIVE at $0.28 each and went to bed. The order was filled by the time I woke up and we made 780 HIVE with good timing and few clicks. I'll take an easy 8% profit like that every day of the week!
Not much action with any of our HE tokens. They are all dropping in value but this is normal when the price of HIVE spikes. I still have no idea why HE does transactions with swap.hive and not swap.hdb.
Non HIVE holdings have been performing very well. We're near sitting on a 3x profit with DOGE, 2x profit on ADA and 44x profit on PEPE all bought in 2023. Our SP500 holding bought in late 2022 is up 50% as well. We are HIVE heavy this cycle and we've taken a gamble buying 200k HIVE when at was 30 cents each. I have no doubt we'll sell it for at least $1 and fingers crossed $2 but we're currently waiting. I'd say in 4 years time, non-HIVE holding will be only 5-10 cryptos but will make up a large allocation of the fund. Non-HIVE holdings are currently 21%, I'd like this percentage increase for the next cycle to be 50-60% with a more diverse portfolio of holdings.
I think we'll see a nice ALT token run from Jan 2026 until Mar 2026 and then the market will dip for a few months during spring into summer and then start to moon again from Aug until the end of the year. All-time highs will come in NOV 2026. I plan to take advantage of this and will be starting a full powerdown from the spi-store at the start of 2026 to be ready to sell some HIVE with the plan to buy back more after 2-3 months.
Thats my 2 cents anyways and another way of saying, we'll be powering down 200k HP and eds-vote will be affected by this.
SPI Token Price & Stats
The SPI token this week has gone sideways in HIVE value but mooned in $ value. Last week, each SPI was worth 5.85 HIVE ($1.41) and this week its 5.83 HIVE ($1.57). This is because HIVE mooned 25% last night. Normally, the SPI token would see a bigger decline in HIVE value when the price of HIVE increases but because 73% of the fund is HIVE, we dont see much of an impact.
