I like ships portrayed from this perspective calling this the ‘Beauty shot’ as this mighty warship is in full sail out on the open sea. The painted version doesn’t look bad either. The 2012 HMS Shannon coin is rendered in this same perspective sailing out of calm clear Halifax harbor in 1812.

It really is gorgeous, Scottsdale is making so many amazing coins like this one. I just wish I had the cash to buy one of each in gold and silver... If I were a rich man from Fiddler on the Roof comes to mind suddenly! lol
