Of course everyone wants to start off the year with some motivation and ambition, but many fall short of their plans on day 2! Part of this comes from people making either too many plans, or making too big of a plan, and shooting straight for it. The problem is that it doesn't work that way. In today's society, we are all about instant gratification. Everything has to be NOW NOW NOW! Well, that's not how life works. You have to make steps to get to where you want to go. So instead of trying to rush the plan, I need to work the plan and hit small attainable goals everyday!
Consistent Activity
One problem in the last year or so that I have dealt with is the lack of consistency with my content. I have wanted to do way more than I have in the way of homestead content, but that was not how 2024 went. So one goal for 2025 is to make at least one major post per day, and then hit the InLeo Threads for the rest of the time. It's not a huge goal, but it's an attainable one. I have spent a little bit of time on Threads already today, so here is my post for the day, haha.
Other major posts that happen during the day will most likely come from my alternative project accounts like @hivelist and others. These posts types will be specific for that account. For example, my e-commerce posts will be on Hivelist, trading and crypto related posts on LogicSwap, homesteading posts on Run-A-Muck Farms, and then this account will be basically a mix mesh of everything else my ADHD brain can come up with as it is my 'personal' account instead of a project account.
NOW I KNOW... I HAVE SAID ALL THIS BEFORE... BUT THIS TIME IS DIFFERENT!!!
I mean, much of what I have going on is Hive related, and really, Hive isn't going anywhere. I have had my love-dislike relationship with the platform for a while, but I am overlooking all the BS and just trying to do what I can to provide value to the chain! It does help having some new blood coming in.
Stopped All Hive Powerdowns
The reality is, I get paid in Hive, so therefore I have had to use my earnings to live and or use for purposes like building my 3D printer farm, and more recently, funding the start of my ASIC mining farm and other things. Powerdowns from both this account and Hivelist were stopped today. I am down to the baseline that I need for resource credits, but the plan is to build my stake by staying consistent with my content creation and curation!
The more Hive Power I can build, the more I can delegate to @leo.voter account so I can further support what has become my favorite Hive front end. This helps me earn more LEO for staking, but will also be used to pay off my DEFI collateralized loan I have in Aave using Polygon. This loan is what I am using to buy the ASIC miners, so the quicker I can pay it down, the quicker I can reloan to buy more miners!
Paid For A Year of InLeo Premium
Yesterday, I signed up for a year of premium on Inleo from @leofinance. The funds for this purchase also came from the DEFI loans. I am looking at it as an investment into the farm, because you do get paid more in rewards for being a premium member from the leo.voter account than you do as a freemium member. So I am glad to take the discount and pay for a year of premium! Hopefully this helps me buy more DOGE/LTC miners!
New Account Creations
One thing that happened yesterday was that I created the Hive accounts for @run-a-muck-farms and @logicswap. These accounts will be used in the future for account specific content. As I said before, I am going to be posting my homesteading and solar powered mining content over on the Run-A-Muck Farms account. The LogicSwap account will be all trading and crypto content. I was able to make these accounts using my own account creation tokens I have built up from my Hive Power.
I tried to make the LogicSWAP account using a Keystore address on LeoDex, but it ended up failing at the Hive account process, so that is why I ended up using another account creation token from my wallet. It's all good though, maybe one day I will be able to play around with earning some DASH.
Where To Go From Here
As for the rest of my day, I am going to be doing some things around the house to get some organization done. It's important to have some balance and not only focus on money and online content, it's also important to take care of business around the house to keep your self in a good place. I work and think better when things are clean and organized. I let depression take over too much and let things get a bit messy for my taste.
My goal is to just take each day as it comes. So as I do what I need to do today, I am going to live in those moments and not worry about the other million things that I need to do. Just taking it one task at a time and one day at a time can help you really focus and compartmentalize and prioritize so you can actually get stuff done.
Until next time...
Be cool, be real, and always abide with you my dudes!
