With the smell of SMTs in the air, you can almost feel the excitement that is pouring out from the many corners of the blockchain. The talk of tokenizing the planet is drumming through the atmosphere like tribal chants under the moonlight. Not that there is anything wrong with any of that, but where the heck do I go once all of the chanting starts?! Well, that is an easy one for me, I choose Inner Blocks.
@innerblocks
The blockchain is being divided, folded, stirred around, divided, twisted, churned up over and over. It looks like a giant bread maker is making a loaf of Steem based bread. How do we even know which way to turn, or how to get involved before the next fold happens.
There are already so many amazing communities build on Steem. Maybe not so much through Steem, but build on Steemit.com. These communities have been around since the beginning of this giant experiment, and most will be here for the long haul. The question is, in what form will they be here.
The ideas are always the same. There is a niche, or a focus, or a group of friends that all come together to support each other and each other's content. That is something that has been clear to me since I joined in 2017. When you feel like you are floating off into a void or anarchy and loneliness, there is a community for that!
When we, Stacie D (@freedomtowrite) and I, first join the block chain we noticed all of the possibilities. We were homesteaders, creators, writers, vloggers, gardeners, travelers etc. You name it, we were probably into it. We found quickly that there were groups that supported similar interests, many many groups. It was difficult to choose which direction to go. Especially when Steemit.com only allowed you to use five tags.
As time has gone by, we have found our tribe. Like they say " your vibe attracts your tribe". It is in the community Inner Blocks. It is a community that is build with the intentions of lifting people up, and encouraging each individual to own their experience. To own their lives and to build themselves up while doing it. The "blocks" represent the many different parts of us that make us who we are. So when they say "Building ourselves - one block at a time" it literally mean owning each block and building yourself just the way you want!
So about Inner Blocks. The community is continuing to grow around the world. The discord server now has over 200 community members. They are hosting live concerts, active chatting, a weekly radio show, contests, and connections. The communities diversity is also growing. There are many countries and languages represented on Inner Blocks, and even have channels for different languages to chat. As the community continues to grow there will be positive changes to remove barriers and make everyone feel like it is the right place for them.
A large aspect of what Inner Blocks is about is the content. Content is the very driving force of the platform that we love. Without the content there would be no reason to even use the front ends that we all enjoy. Inner Blocks has developed a manual curation bot that works through discord. This is manned by a current team of 10 members that find great content from around the world and then use the bot as a way to curate of behalf of Inner Blocks. It is as simple as dropping the posts URL into the appropriate discord channel, then the bot will upvote and leave a comment that includes the curators name.
Inner Blocks is also developing a custom front end that will match the unique comfortable family feel with the new SMT market. Currently version 1.0 is up and running at https://www.theinnerblocks.com. As the developer @jasonbu continues to upgrade to version 2.0, which will include many amazing features, it will update the current domain. When it is "ready" it will all role over to the new URL www.innerblocks.com. This will be the endgame and will include a great relaunch and a contents that will include a Steem Silver Round as a prize.
There are many communities and activities that are involved with Inner Blocks. There is another project that is close to Inner Blocks and it is called DIYtube. @diytube and it is focused on curating DIY content on @dtube. This is just one example of affiliations that are all growing the larger pictures. Supporting people.
The project is currently growing in numbers, both in people and in delegations. The delegations are used to continue to support the great content and creators. It is also being used to organically grow the account @innerblocks, and to claim accounts.
That is 264.94 organic SP and 10,753.62 delegated!!
I personally delegate 3,122 and that means the rest comes from amazing support from people just like you! The current SP of @innerblocks is 11,018.56 SP
I hope you would consider choosing InnerBlocks as a community that you could really get behind. Something that you could see yourself supporting, both as a community member and a delegator. You can show your support for the project and the amazing content by delegating to @innerblocks.
All of this comes with custom media and logos. The following are examples of the great media.
and a custom footer

This is all the just the beginning of something that will change the face of social media. As Inner Blocks continues to refine the very idea of what it means to feel comfortable and safe while you are posting the content that you want to.
InnerBlocks is a very grassroots project. It is building from the ground up. Doing what it can with what it has. I know that there is a need for more developers that would like to be a part of an amazing project, and volunteers that will spread the word. It is completely about the people, the whole person, and it is being build BY the people. Nearly every idea that has been put up by a community member has been added to the development of the community and front end. That is the only way to carve the path forward is with the support of the people.
If you have stuck with me this far, shew, a long blog, I appreciate it. I hope you would consider jumping in with Inner Blocks in any way that you would like. Whether it is by...

Be well

Happy to see how this has grown and look forward to seeing where it goes.
