The Russian students taught the first Russian anthropomorphous FEDOR robot to movements for operation in a warehouse and to overcoming an obstacle course.
Participants of the first stage of a competition in creation of the software for the robot performed tasks on the basis of a 3D model in the virtual environment of the simulator, modeling control of its movements. From more than 40 commands of the Russian universities which sent requests for a competition 14 successfully passed the first stage.
I saw great footage of similar robots at a presentation at JPL last year. Very impressive - thanks!
