Interesting thought there. I get what you're saying. I like to think about it in a slightly different way. Sometimes I think that we get lost in politics because we are focusing on things that are far too big for us to even do anything tangible about. We say "this politician did/is doing THIS and now we can't do THAT." When in reality, you can do THAT right now. Want more art programs in your community? Simply start a community meetup that meets every week. Want more peace? Starting speaking more peacefully and attending events that feel peaceful to you. I think we forget the simplicity of DOING. Our actions speak more powerfully than our words...and our votes!
