Communicating with DEAD loved ones?

in #inspiration7 years ago (edited)

I've been seeing lots of video's and posts on other media sites talking about being able to speak with dead loved ones. I've heard many stories about their loved ones coming back and telling them of missing keys leading to treasure, or encouraging words to uplift, etc. I've also read accounts of people playing with ways to "talk to the dead" when in turn they find out that they haven't been talking to loved ones at all but some other entity.

I have a great grandmother that was in perfect health. She was in her late 80's. One day while taking a nap she said she had a vision of her dead husband that was in a suit. He was standing in front of her bed with his arms stretched out saying "its time, its time". She then woke up from the nap, and sat up in bed. She visibly saw her dead husband saying its time with his hands waving come. After he faded away she went and told everyone about the dream/vision. 2 days later she got sick, and the next day she died.

I have heard of countless stories like this. Just trying to make sense out of it all. I am just curious what your beliefs are here on the Steemit Forum? Can this be done (talking to dead loved ones) or not? What are some of your stories that you recall? I would love to hear about them.

Thanks for reading and thanks for any and every comment. Have a great day all. Cheers.

Time to go Steeming on Steemit.

Really not a good idea because the dead does not speak, listen, nor walk unless its resurrected because it is just dead. In case you are planning to communicate with the dead then do it at your own risk.

I personally don't talk to the dead. Although sometimes while walking alone I say whispering to my dad that passed away recently "I wish you were still here, and I miss you". I suppose this is just natural. No I don't plan on communicating with the dead. I do believe that God works through angels, which evidently are here among us. Hebrew 13:2. I am just curious if others have had any strange occurrences like my Great Grandmother had right before she died. There is so much we just don't know. Always learning, and am always on a quest. Thanks for the reply jonasthomas.

I haven't talked to spirits.. I am pretty sure the Bible is pretty clear on what happens when we die, but i was astral projecting once and had like a voice tell me to go outside, and when i did a green ufo flew over..

That is wild for sure. It would be very interesting to break into that 3rd/4th dimension. We would be baffled in what we could see I'm sure. Thanks for the comment stealthtrader. Have a good one.

Come on Crowe :3

Just a curious soul I suppose. ha. Cheers.

No worries :D

I have had numerous experiences that let me know that I was still in contact with a deceased loved one, but none of my experiences happened the way most other people report it. Sometimes I would be awaken from sleep and see someone standing down near the end of the hall. Sometimes I would be studying or watching TV and suddenly hear my grandfather's voice. The most dramatic one happened when I was pregnant with my son. A neighbor know to have mental issues wanted me to walk to the store with her. It was almost 100 degrees outside and I did not feel up to it. She started across the room and I feared she was intending to hit me. Just before she got to me, she was suddenly pushed backward with enough force to fall on her rear end. I believe it was a grandfather protecting his Great grandchild.

Cool story. I have a niece that was on a trampoline when she was a little girl (5 or so). She and her friends were jumping when a big gust of wind picked up the trampoline in the air and kids fell to the ground, and many were hurt. My niece reported that her deceased grandfather caught her when she was falling down (about 8 feet in the air). She was just fine and didn't have a scratch.
I'm now following your blog fernowl13.

I agree, dead people are not human beings any more, I believe the vision your grandma had was just product of her subconscious because she probably felt the death is coming, I heard old people feel if their end will come soon, but she didn't want to admit it herself, so the feeling was in her subconscious :)

Would you like to see my bunghole?

I have no idea. Just remember my mom telling me what had happened. Subconscious or a bit of heaven coming down for a visit? Who knows. Thanks for the reply misswatermelon. I'm now following your blog.

I doubt if you really can talk to a dead loved ones. I'm no stranger to deaths, had my fair share of seeing loved ones die, I just think it's the mind playing tricks on the bereaved. You may sense the presence of a dead loved one, if you had a strong bond or connection with them while alive. I think that's the much one can really experienced.

Thanks for the reply. I myself sure don't know the answers. I do enjoy reading what others are saying though. Thanks again bitfairy. I'm now following your blog.

Thanks. Your blog is awesome.

Hey, thanks bitfairy. I appreciate that. Have a good one.

I do not believe in talking to dead people. There are many entities out there that can assume the roles of your dead relatives. Of-course there exists a spirit world and we see ghost activities from time to time. However, what happens after death is a mystery, no one knows for sure what goes on.

Much truth to your reply. Thanks practicaleric. I sure wish we could take a peek in the other "dimensions" around us. Cheers.
